This issue seems like majority are absconding from it. I am not backing up the idea – end of the world in no particular time t, but I am bringing up the matter because the story is becoming intense and scientists are committing a lot of material and monetary efforts to this issue. This is evident in the documentation tagged: 2012. In this documentary, scientists carefully observed the intrinsic potentials of the planet earth that can terminate its existence over time. Here is a brief of the documentary:

Well, this does sends a cold shiver up my spine. The narrator in the documentary made a statement that: “Even if we master our own domain, we can’t master the whole universe”. This factor seems most potent if it happens, because it does exist. After checking this in the documentary, I tried digging up some facts about black holes – they are an aftermath of constellational explosion. It is like a large speeding spiral-whorl, so black that light even turns black when a black hole engorges it. When one comes to our planet, we get a free source of a new gravitational force (no more 9.8ms-1), and our dear earth becomes ‘Spaghetified’ because a black hole’s gravitational pull is enough to devour our planet earth.
Super-Volcano
Well, I am not a Geologist – (I wish a geologist can comment on this at the end of this page) – but whatever makes a volcanic eruption to be scientifically tagged “Super”, it transcends the alpine types. The documentary described it as a ‘Sleeping Giant’. Seven potential Super-volcanoes have been uncovered around the world: Mexico, Indonesia, Siberia, Japan, New Zealand and California – something is going to tell you that the distribution is virtually worldwide!
Aggregation of Nuclear Energy
Nuclear energy is presently the greatest energy being harnessed in the modern world of technology. Nuclear energy surpasses the internal energy of the sun! This is informed by the fact that nuclear energy from the constellations alone is enough to annihilate the sun itself. This is the kind of enormous energy that we, humans, are utilizing in nuclear researches like nuclear fuel, nuclear plant works and NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
Presently, there are about 20,000 nuclear weapons in about nine (9) countries of the world, (5 billion of DNT-chain explosion), in which if not carefully managed, checked, or falls in the wrong hands, can jeopardize the survival of human existence. A misconception in scientific advances can further aggravate this issue. This is evident in USA, 1995, when American Astrologists are trying a scientific research in the Northern hemisphere, which required them to launch a Submarine Rocket from the North Pacific Ocean Floor into space through the Northern Hemisphere. The Russians on spotting this rocket aloft thought it was a missile attack. Sources have it that this is one of the reasons for the Soviet Union dissolution. Such a misconception again on the part of a country like Russia – enormously endowed with nuclear weapon, can lead to an unimaginable catastrophe.
The 2012 Completion of the Mayan Calendar
I am briefing these facts as they are elucidated in the documentary – so that you probably won’t ask me why I have to slot the ‘2012’ event here. Some early scientists believed that on Dec 21st, 2012, our galaxy completes a 26,000 years revolution. Every time this happens, a heavy e-m radiation is emitted to space in form of ‘Flares’. This conclusion is based on an ancient tribe’s observation. I will try and succinctly explain this one – it is what seems “certain” of all the catastrophes.
Mayan records say that a dark rift exists in the center of the sky. In 2002 we discovered a black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. In 1993 we discovered that from the earth’s view, the sun will rise in the center plane of the galaxy on the morning of 12/21/2012. This happens every 25,800 years due to the fact that our rotation changes by one degree every 72 years. The Mayans have three calendars which end on 12/21/2012 and one is on a 25,800 year cycle. The last Ice Age started 25,800 years ago and marked the end of Neanderthal and the rise of Cro-Magnon man. Will there be another change for Homo sapiens? The Jewish 7000 year calendar also ends around 2012 and the Kyoto treaty expires in 2012. The solar cycle of sun spots peaks in 2012 and every summer has been hotter than the previous since 2000.
Also, some strong religious and ancient tribal beliefs inveterate this prediction. The Hopi Indians (500 BC to the present) say that, “In 2012 the earth will be shaken by an explosion that will rock North and South America”. There have been three previous great cleansings by and asteroid or volcano, the Ice Age and a Great Flood. “The Sacred Ones will arrive via Flying Shield”. This resembles the Book of Enoch where Ezekiel goes up into a “Flying Wheel”. The Hopi’s perform Kachina dances where their outfits look like space suits with helmets.
There has been other Hopi prophecy that has come true. “We will talk through spider webs” which has been accepted to be phone lines. “We will ride in carriages without horses. Women will wear men’s clothing”.
This is how far I can go with the 2012 grand event. I have a lot to say as regard this 2012 grand event. Alien Ship invasion

Asteroids
Asteroids are compact irregular balls of rocks that can be more than a mile in diametric size. The awing part of this is that there are thousands of these around the orbit through which the earth rotates. If an asteroid runs in the earth’s orbit, it is going to be catastrophic. Intriguingly, an asteroid – Apophis, 3-4 football fields wide – have been identified to potentially end human existence by the year 2029. Scientists study its pattern of rotation in space and presumed that its orbit will cross the earth’s orbit in 2029. There is presently a measure against this. This is using Sir Isaac Newton’s nuclear pole relativity theory – all body with mass attract each other. This phenomenon is used in developing the Gravity Tracker Wheel, such that an impending asteroid hit can be deflected by the gravitational pull of other asteroids in space when the approaching asteroid is charged (Like a centripetal deflection). At least, we (humans) can still deal with that.
Black Hole
There are three other ways a black hole can get our planet – time and space won’t permit me to enumerate all. Pray for our planet – May no black hole come near it.
A lot other ways are also documented in the video, such as adverse effect of global warming: Presently, it is estimated that 800 million people are malnourished and a few millions starving throughout the world. A degree rise in global temperature will cause desertification of places like part of the British isles, rise in ocean surface temperature and subsequent appearance of deadlier hurricanes – one of the ways ocean reduces its temperature. The more the thermometer goes up, the lesser our chances of survival. With the present rate of global warming, it is scientifically predicted that by the end of this century, we would have our global temperature increase by 6oC.
These six that I discussed here are those I ranked as ‘most prominent’. Anyway, if I am to come in as a biologist here, then I will say biologically that: no species last forever.
